Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier: just browse through the shop, click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. When you have finished selecting your jewellery click on "CHECKOUT" and you will be asked for a few details. Your credit card details will be processed via a secure server. We'll send you an email to confirm that we've received your order. Confirmation of your order does not constitute a contract between us - a contract between jwl Contemporary Jewellery and you as a customer of jwl Contemporary Jewellery is formed only upon dispatch of the goods. When your goods are despatched we'll send you another email to inform you that your goods are on their way.
Shipping And Handling
All goods are sent boxed. We offer gift wrapping free of charge so if you would like your goods gift wrapped please select the gift wrapping option during checkout. There is also a special instructions box at the checkout if you would like to include any additional relevant information for us (for example special shipping instructions).

Delivery to addresses in the UK is free for all orders with a value of £50.00 and above. Postal charges for all other orders in the uk are £3.50, and will be sent by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. All packages that are sent require a signature on delivery. If you want to arrange delivery by an alternative method please contact us by telephone or e-mail.

Delivery to addresses in Europe is charged at a flat rate of £7.50. Delivery to USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and South Africa is charged at a flat rate of £9.50. International orders will be sent by Royal Mail Airmail Signed For. International orders may take up to 7 days from the date of shipping to arrive.
Delivery Schedule
Where possible we will ship your goods to you 24 hours of receiving your order. If we are unable to ship your jewellery within 3 days we will contact you either by email or by phone to let you know how long we expect it to be before we can fulfil your order and to give you the option to wait or to cancel the order.
Please note that if the shipping address differs from the billing one, we may contact you to ask for further documentation and/or proof of ID and the order might take a little bit longer to deliver.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock we will place it on back order for you. In these circumstances you will always receive an email with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
VAT
All prices on the bjwl.co.uk website are in GB Pounds Sterling and are inclusive of UK VAT.
Credit Card Security
When an order is placed at our website all the details you send to us, including credit card numbers are encrypted using 128bit SSL technology. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Returns Policy
Returns

If you'd like to return any goods purchased from jwl Contemporary Jewellery please telephone us on 01200 425955 (Tuesday to Saturday 9am - 5pm) or email us as soon as possible after receiving your goods. We will give you a return reference and further instructions on how to return your purchases. Please note that we accept only authorized returns. The goods must be returned within 14 days of receipt in their original, undamaged condition and in their original packaging.

Due to reasons of hygiene earrings cannot be returned unless they are faulty.

We recommend that the goods be sent Royal Mail Recorded Delivery along with the appropriate insurance cover. If you decide not to use Recorded Delivery we would advise that you obtain a proof of posting receipt from the Post Office. The goods will be deemed returned when received by us. Refunds will be arranged within 30 days of the date we receive the returned goods.

P&P charges, where applicable, are non-refundable.

We cannot guarantee a refund for goods received later than 14 days from receipt of goods. All Refunds are made at our discretion.

Damaged or Faulty Goods

We do everything we can to ensure all goods reach our customers in excellent condition. If at any time it happens that you should receive damaged or faulty goods from us, please contact us immediately on 01200 425955 Tuesday to Saturday 9am - 5pm and we will sort out the problem.

The goods must be returned within 14 days of receipt in their original packaging. We recommend that the goods be sent Royal Mail Recorded Delivery along with the appropriate insurance cover. Returned goods will only be credited, repaired or replaced if the damage has occurred prior to delivery, or if it is clear that the problem is due to a manufacturing fault. We cannot guarantee refunds or replacements of goods damaged due to wear and tear or mistreated in any way. Refunds, repairs and/or replacements are made at our own discretion.

Refunds or replacements will be arranged within 30 days of the date we receive the returned goods.

Complaints
If you have a complaint about any aspect of the service you have received from jwl Contemporary Jewellery please contact us by telephone 01200 425955 during shop opening hours (9-5 Tuesday to Saturday).

Alternatively you can send an e-mail to info@jwlcontemporaryjewellery.com which we check regularly out of opening hours, or you can send us a letter. We strive to acknowledge all complaints within 24 hours of their receipt.

You will be notified for the course of action that will be taken in order to settle your problem. If the nature of the issue does not allow its immediate resolution we will keep you informed of the process on a regular basis. Any complaints will be kept confidential.

Remittance Terms
Goods remain the property of jwl Contemporary Jewellery until payment has been received in full. Payments can be made on-line by credit/debit cards or PayPal, or by credit/debit card over the phone. We accept payments by the following credit and debit cards:

Terms of Service
The bjwl.co.uk website, its contents, terms of service and contracts shall be governed by the English laws. Those who access the site from another location are responsible for compliance with their local laws. Any dispute that may arise will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England.

These Terms of Service do not affect your statutory rights.

To order the goods you must be at least 18 years old.

We may change these Terms of Service from time to time without prior notice. Changes will apply to any subsequent orders.

We have no liability for any, direct, indirect, special or consequential loss arising out of the use of or the inability to use this Website including (without limitation) reliance on any information or content of the website or which results from mistakes, omissions, interruptions, deletions of files or emails, defects, viruses or delays in operation or transmission.

We do not accept any responsibility for any web site(s) that may be connected with links to us.

All prices on the site are shown in GB Pounds Sterling and include UK VAT.

We try to ensure all prices on the web site are accurate. Nevertheless, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of the goods you have ordered we will contact you to resolve the situation.

If by mistake we have under-priced an item, we will not be liable to supply that item to you at the stated price, provided that we notify you before we dispatch the item in question.

Images of goods on the site may not accurately reflect the actual size of items. Some products may appear slightly larger or smaller than actual size due to screen defaults and photography techniques. Other products may be represented at a larger than actual size in order to clearly show details, or smaller than actual size in order to show the entire item, and your attention is drawn to the product details and content where given.

All sizes and measurements on the site are approximate. They are provided for guidance purpose only.

In the unlikely event of change in the specification or quality of the goods ordered, we will offer you a substitute of the same or better quality for the same price. If you are not happy with the replacement, feel free to contact us to discuss a new one.

We reserve the right to refuse the supply of goods at our own discretion. We also reserve the right to cancel any order that we deem to be suspicious or where the details you provided do not match the security details held by the card issuer for that card.

We reserve the right to charge and fulfill partial orders per individual items in cases where the order consists of multiple items.

bjwl.co.uk may at its sole discretion cancel your order in which case we shall return any money received from you, within 30 days of receipt of such money to your nominated account and we shall be entitled to deduct an administration fee of £20.00.

Delivery charges and estimated timescales are specified in our Shipping and Handling and Delivery Schedule sections. We make every effort to deliver the goods within the estimated timescale. However delays are occasionally inevitable.

Goods are supplied subject to availability. If it happens we are unable to supply the goods in time, we will contact you to arrange a new delivery date. We cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer as a result of late delivery or cancellation of your order.
